A Very Merry Christmas
Well, Christmas is over, and all that we are left with is lots of empty boxes, scraps of discarded wrapping paper, way too many toys, and the best part, wonderful Christmas memories. This year was especially fun because all three girls were into opening presents. Livvy was excited by all of the presents, and took her time in opening all of her stocking stuffers first. She seemed to be most excited about her Go Baby, but mom is still undecided about whether this was a wise choice or not... Maddie LOVED opening presents, saying "Openenen it..." every time she found a present that was hers (or poor Sophie's) and then quickly giving it to daddy to really open it. All three girls got a new baby, and Maddie and Sophie had little fits while daddy fought with the childproof packaging to free the dolls. Maddie was so thrilled to open presents, she quickly took it upon herself to open most of Sophia's gifts. Poor little Sophie just wasn't as aggressive as her sister, and quite honestly, just not as interested in opening gifts. Of course, all three girls wanted to play with each toy before she opened the next. The girls seemed to like all their new toys, and even though Christmas was a whirlwind of places to go, we all had a very Merry Christmas. I think mommy and daddy had the best Christmas of all, though, because we ended up with three little blessings who remind us we have so much to be thankful for every single day!
