It's Beginning to Look a lot like Christmas!

We decided to put up our Christmas tree this weekend. All I can say is - what an adventure! The babies love to touch it, so they hover around the tree saying "touch it" a hundred times and then laugh hysterically when they actually do touch it. We started off with a little four foot tree on Saturday, which we decorated with small unbreakable bulbs. Good thing since all three of the girls loved clanking them together. As soon as the girls saw the tree, Maddie ran over and hugged it. Today we put up the real Christmas tree and decorated it with real ornaments. Luckily most of my ornaments are not breakable, so there were only a couple casualties from the trimming of the tree. There was a Mickey Mouse snow globe that didn't quite make it and a couple snowmen lost their noses, and one lost his hat, but other than that, no major mishaps. Everyone got to put their favorite ornaments on the tree. Of course, mommy went through and rearranged when the girls were done...We also put out a little wooden advent calendar which will hold a prize for whichever girl gets to open it each day. The rule is whoever is the most well behaved for the day will get to open the door and get the prize. Today was Sophia's day. Let's just say that Olivia will be lucky if she gets to open a door before Christmas!
