Day 5 - Cinderella's Royal Table

Day five was an especially important day - breakfast at Cinderella's Royal Table. For anyone who doesn't know, Cinderella's Royal Table is the hottest ticket in town andreservations at CRT are nearly impossible to get...It was a miracle that we were somehow able to secure reservations for all of us.
We were all exhausted from being out so late the night before, but we were excited to eat breakfast in the castle. We also got into the park before everyone else, so we were able to get some decent pictures in front of the castle without a million people in the backgroud. Our reservations were at 9:00 a.m., so we got there by 8:30 to check in. Cinderella's castle is quite a sight. There are suits of armor in the lobby and a long, winding staircase that you have to climb to get to the dining room. Before breakfast, everyone gets their pictures taken with Cinderella and you get a little photo package. I guess this makes the $120 price tag for breakfast for a four year old and one adult a little less ridiculous. (Not really, I still think it is way overpriced, but at least you get a few photos!)
When we were seated at our table, the waiter offers us two choices for breakfast. Stuffed french toast with carmalized banana or the healthy breakfast, which was yogart and fruit or something like that. Liv automatically gets eggs and sausage on a giant mickey shaped plate. They do bring a little plate of danishes and some fruit, so we snack on that while we wait for breakfast. Livvy ate about $1.00 worth of food, and I ate the french toast, not daring to touch the caramalized banana. The food was okay, but definitely not worth the price. While we were eating, the princesses came around to say hi and take photos. Liv got her picture taken with Ariel, Belle, Aurora, Jasmine, and of course, Cinderella. She was thrilled everytime another princess approached her. This made the entire trip worthwhile! It brings tears to my eyes, just thinking about it...She was just in her glory hanging out with the princesses. All too soon, our breakfast was over and it was time for us to go.
We spent the rest of the day at the Magic Kingdom, doing our usual attractions - Country Bears, Small World, and we did venture to the Tiki Birds, which Livvy liked for the most part. We also explored ToonTown, which was pretty cute. Livvy wanted to get her face painted again, but I told her Pete's Garage was closed and they weren't painting faces yet...A little white lie, but it saved me 15 bucks!
Only one more day at the most magical place on earth....
