We finally did it...No more pacis in our house. (Technically, they are still in the house -just in case...) but the paci fairy paid us a visit last weekend, and actually, it went smoother than I expected. The first night was a little rough for Olivia. Bedtime took forever, and poor thing, she just needed something to suck...She tried to convince grandma to let her sleep with her jacket because it had the little plastic thing on it, and she just needs something. She ended up sucking on her bunny's ear. I guess it's better than sucking her thumb!
The paci fairy brought the girls a big box of surprises and left a note thanking them for giving their pacis to the babies who don't have any. Olivia told grandma the other day that she misses her old friend, Red Paci. Bedtime still takes a little longer, but there are no more tears, and no more pacis!
